Luna Textiles

Luna Texiles began in 2002 with  a small alpaca farm in the Peninne Hills of Yorkshire; enjoying the benefit of being located in a textile rich area between the mills of Bradford and the towns along the Lancashire border.

They also ran a small business importing textiles from Peru and as a result of their textile business were also buying and selling natural fibre bedding items such as pillows and duvets. When the company that supplied the bedding closed due to retirement an opportunity arose to buy a mill and start manufacturing their own natural fibre bedding items.

Luna Textiles achieved GOTS certification to manufacture fully organic duvets pillows and cushions. This guarantees the agricultural welfare of both sheep, land, water supply and manufacturing process.

They firmly believe in the value of British Wool and hold a British Wool Crook mark as evidence for supporting British farming and British Wool.

Luna Textiles also process such fibres as cashmere, alpaca and a wide range of British sheep breed fibres including Herdwick, Shetland and Welsh wools.
